Carnival is a topic taught in primary schools. Nine schools go a step further by electing a youth carnival prince or princess. Together with their princes, they then take part in the children’s parade on Friday afternoon. The young dignitaries were very proud to receive their medals from Youth Prince Dylan I and Carnival Prince Koen I.
