Genk carillon celebrated on 11 July

The Festival of the Flemish Community this year focused on the carillon in Flanders, but also in Genk. Our carillon turns 50 this year. City carillonneur Jos Wouters was also honoured; he has now been climbing the church tower of Genk for 35 years to delight the people of Genk with his carillon playing.
